The House of Hennessy
The House of Hennesy dominates the Charente river on two sides: on the right bank you'll find the 18th century warehouses and on the left bank the temple of light created in 1995 by the architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte. Baron Otard - Château De Cognac
The visit of the Château de Cognac takes visitors along a journey through the history of France. As the place of birth of François I in 1494, and the headquarters of the Baron Otard cognacs since 1795, the building has seen great events passing by. The visitor will arrive at a room called the « Paradis », the place where the oldest eaux-de-vie age (some of them date from 1820). The House of Martell
The oldest of the cognac houses, created in 1715! On a pond set between the buildings of this cognac house floats an authentic 19th century barge, used for the transport of barrels. The House of Courvoisier
On the banks of the Charente, between the bridges and locks of Jarnac, the museum area with modern architecture of wood and glass, stands next to the old buildings. Musée des Arts du Cognac
